Two great parks are located in Drôme where small and funny animals will bring happiness to your children !

The 1001 Cornes park : and their funny animals !

Discover the 1001 Cornes Park, located in Charmes sur l’herbasse, where fauna, flora and history blend together. At the heart of the Drôme des Collines, this safeguarding farm has more than 150 animals, including 25 rare breed of goats and sheep. The 1001 Cornes park carries on breeding traditions in a natural and indulgent environment. A human scale place where your children can feed the baby goats, enjoy a gourmet picnic thanks to the snack-bar( with the vegetables from the park’s garden) or the botanic route and the old tools museum. A playful and re-energizing family outing for the family !

Little extra : spend the night in a trailer for an unusual stay at the heart of the park !

The Parrots’ Park : a colourful show.

It’s a place of dream for adults and children, located in Bren ( Drôme). Your small ones will be amazed by the parrots and budgerigars’ show. The birds show their own intelligence throughout each performance : a scooter’s ride, a golf-buggy and all kinds of capers. The park is owned by a father and a son, both passionated by the large family of Psittacides. Macaws, cockatoos and other birds are free,  which is a chance for us to see them a little bit closer without harming them ! A memory that will sure stay engraved in your children’s minds.

Open only in July and August in order to protect the natural rythme of our feathered friends !

Beyond Ardèche Hermitage, at only 40 minutes from Tournon-sur-Rhône, travel through continents with the Safari de Peaugres ! Take a look at Siberian tigers, the snow leopard, the brown bear or buffaloes, elephants, girafes and many others ! An enriching experience for your kids. A car trip or a stroller one is ideal to combine the enjoyment of adults and children ! A place open all-year long !

Are you spending your holidays around Tournon-sur-Rhône and Tain l’Hermitage and you wish to occupy your less than 5 years old small ones ? Take a look at our playgrounds in Ardèche Hermitage ! Slides, swings…you little ones will be pleased ! Join the enjoyment of landscapes and games in the the peninsula of Saint Jean de Muzols park, where you will admire the view of the Castle of Tournon and the Rhône. In Tain l’Hermitage, a playgound is located along the quays of the Rhône river, not far from the Cité du Cholocat and the sweet perfum that comes from it ! The Bassin des Musards, in the village of La Roche De Glun is the perfect place to go with your family ! There, you will find several playgrounds in a bucolic setting. You can also enjoy a stroll around the small port of fishermen where you can admire sailing boats.

Walks with a stroller

Are you looking for a stroller-friendly walk with your children to discover Ardèche Hermitage ? It’s not always easy to find a walk available to all, especially for very young children.  Go off to discover the Etang du Mouchet, located in Chavannes. A small green area available by foot, stroller, draisines and bikes ! A playful place with signs about the fauna and fora all along the walk !

Water Games

Do you want to cool down ? L’espace aquatique Linaë ( water complex), located in Tain l’Hermitage will allow you to create family memories with your small ones. Paddling pools, slides, outdoor water games : your children will be pleased ! In need of fresh air ? Go for a swim in the Lac de Champos in Saint Donat sur l’Herbasse with its shady picnic spots and the paddling pool for the children near the lake ! Such incredible moments and a wonderful atmosphere !
