You will have to wait a little bit before putting on your sneakers and proudly hanging up your bib. The major 2025 sporting events in Ardèche Hermitage will begin in March. Throughout the year, you will set new records! You will awaken your sporting spirit and convince your family and friends that you are the best.

The « Trail Muzolais » running race

Organized on March 23, 2025, it inaugurates the running season in Ardèche Hermitage. It's a 100% nature race, as the volunteers who set up the course are keen to make the most of our beautiful trails and avoid the tarmac sections as much as possible. 

What's more, this year's Trail Muzolais will once again set itself apart from other races with an exceptional start.  You'll reach the center of St-Jean de Muzols, for a charming journey through the heart of the Gorges du Doux, before setting off on some splendid singles. A race like no other, with courses tailor-made for trail and gradient lovers: a night race on Saturday evening with a 17km course, a 10km on Sunday morning, a challenge on the 17km on Saturday and the 10km on Sunday, as well as a children's race. For those who prefer walking, a 10km trail is also available. 
 

The Duo de l'Hermitage, a major sporting event in 2025 in Ardèche Hermitage

The Duo de l'Hermitage, a trail unlike any other because, as its name suggests, it's run by 2: “2 start, 2 finish”. Both friendly and sporty, it's a must-attend event in May. 

 Mark your calendars: May 17 and 18, 2025! Choose your partner carefully and keep up the pace, as there will be several routes to choose from. Atmosphere guaranteed! Two races are on offer, with the program to be announced shortly. For the most competitive among you, there's the Duo's challenge formula: if you like it, don't count it! Why choose between two races when you can do both? The challenge formula combines the Saturday and Sunday races. And last but not least, for the enjoyment of the youngest, a children's race is organized, with no stopwatch, no ranking, just for fun!  
 

The unmissable: The Ardéchoise cycle race

Registration is now open! A major 2025 sporting event in the Ardèche Hermitage region, not to be missed! The Ardéchoise is an institution: Europe's biggest amateur cycling race, with 15,000 participants. 

 It's a real festival of cycling throughout the département. A race made up of warm encounters, where the people of the Ardèche demonstrate the meaning of the word “welcome”. Make a note of the date for this 32nd edition, which promises to be even more festive: from June 10 to 14, 2025. Book your accommodation now for a stay in the colors of the Ardéchoise!

Hermitage Half-Marathon in Saint-Joseph

The second edition of the Hermitage half-marathon in Saint Joseph is not to be missed! This major sporting event in Ardèche Hermitage will take place on October 19, 2025. 

 Solo, duo or relay, you'll be able to prove your half-marathon skills as you race through the heart of the three finest appellations of the Côtes du Rhône: Saint-Joseph, Hermitage and Crozes Hermitage! Departing from Tain l'Hermitage, you'll be guided by the Rhône! Passing through La Roche de Glun, Glun and Mauves, you'll reach the finish line on the quays of Tournon! Along the way, you'll discover superb autumn landscapes, with vivid colors that will make you forget your aches and pains! Information coming soon.
