Hiking path

Description

The village has retained a large number of heritage features related to the water system. Discover a well laid out in 1840, ponds, fountains and water distributors through the marked path "The path of the fountains". The village has an agricultural vocation, with apricots its flagship product. Very early on, waterworks were necessary to irrigate the land, for craft and industrial activities and for domestic needs. Bren has preserved a large number of heritage features linked to the commune's water supply network. A horizontal well built in 1840 drew water from the outcrop of the water table and led it to a number of basins, wells, fountains and water distributors, used at the time by private individuals and farmers. Discover this network along the fountain trail.
