with campsite and stop-over gîte. Big kitchen, lounge, fireplace, 2 showers and 2 WC. TV point.
4 bedrooms (2 for 2 persons and 2 for 4 persons). 2 terraces. In the heart of green Ardèche, 15 minutes from Tournon sur Rhone (30 minutes from Valence), with breathtaking 180° views of the Rhone Valley, Vercors and Alps. La Ferme de Simondon is a stone-built Ardèche hamlet, renovated and dedicated to hospitality. You'll find donkeys, ewes, lambs and chickens to delight young and old alike!
Gites, chambres d'hôtes and family campsites are here to welcome you in a friendly, family atmosphere.

The gîte is equipped for up to 12 people.

The kitchen is large enough for groups: large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, extractor hood, microwave, kettle/coffee maker/bread toaster, raclette machine, etc.

Upstairs, the landing leads to 4 bedrooms, 1 separate toilet and 2 shower rooms. Each room is equipped with a washbasin and storage cupboard.

* 1 room for 4 people: 2 pairs of 90cm bunk beds
* 1 room for 4 people: 2 pairs of 90cm bunk beds

Outside, 2 terraces: 1 to the north at the front, pleasant and cool in summer; 1 shared terrace to the south at the rear of the gîte, with large charcoal barbecue.

Access to heated swimming pool in season (weather permitting, mid-May to mid-September), playground and games room (ping pong, table soccer, reading...), walking trails...
Bakery and shops in the village of Plats (2kms). Department stores in Tournon sur Rhône (10km).
Campsite grocery-bar open in season: bread orders in July and August, cold drinks, craft beer and local wines, local produce, ice cream, garden vegetables, farm eggs, etc.

Combined gas/wood heating with insert. Additional heating charge outside summer. Exterior lighting limited to solar and LED bollards to avoid visual pollution. Natural composting by animals!

The Restaurant "la Ferme de Simondon" is on site, to simplify your stay and share a convivial meal, in a privileged setting with panoramic views over the Rhône Valley and the Vercors.

1 Dog accepted under certain conditions and at extra cost (please contact the owner in advance).

Deposit cheque required on arrival (=500€ to guarantee that housework has been done and equipment preserved).

Close to the Cornas and St Joseph wine routes, Ferme de Simondon is within easy reach of the little Ardèche train, the Velorail, Valrhona, Facteur Cheval, cellar visits, etc.

Conveniently located 400 m from the GR 42 and GR 420, and close to the start of the Ardéchoise and motor races.
