Romanesque church of Vion

Description

Built in the 11th century, the chancel and crypt of this magnificent church are classified as historical monuments. Inside, the arches and Byzantine capitels stand side by side with elegant columns and coloured ceilings.
Currently closed to the public. The crypt also contains beautiful Carolingian cpaitals and a 10th-century baptismal font.
