Domaine des REMIZIERES - Famille Desmeure

Description

Domaine des Remizières has been a family business for several generations. At its beginning, it had 4 hectares of vines, since it has grown a lot, to currently reach 36 hectares. In the early days, Alphonse managed the estate. From 1973 onwards, all the winemaking was done on the estate. His son Philippe took over in 1977 and decided to market the entire production. Expansion and modernisation work then gradually began. In 2005, Emilie, with her oenology diploma in hand, joined her father. In 2009, Emilie's brother Christophe joined the estate after obtaining his BTS in viticulture and oenology. It's a family job, with a clear sense of purpose and tasks.

The estate currently produces Crozes Hermitage Red and White, L'Hermitage Red and White and Saint Joseph Red, as well as a small amount of Vin de Pays/IGP. We offer different cuvées in these appellations.

The estate is spread over several communes: Mercurol, Crozes-Hermitage, Tain l'Hermitage, Larnage, La Roche de Glun as well as Saint Jean de Muzols and Vion for the Saint Joseph.
