From his first adolescent poems to the hits that set audiences on fire, Nougaro has explored every register, and touches us with the extreme humanity that emanates from each of his lyrics. By compagnie du crabe barbu His themes of inspiration weave links from one text to the next: birth, adolescence, first love, alcohol, faith, poetry, politics, idolatry, poverty, ecology, showbiz, illness, death... and love. The show takes us on a one-and-a-half-hour journey of music, theater, laughter, daydreams and occasional tears. It's an exploration and a declaration of love for the work of the singer, poet and humanist.
