Explore Tain l'Hermitage and Tournon: savor chocolate at the Cité Valrhona, discover the Cave de Tain, hike the Hermitage hill or enjoy a bike ride with wine tasting. A holiday combining nature, culture and gourmet delights. Day 1:
On Saturday morning, you arrive at the Tain l'Hermitage - Tournon train station. Head for the Tain 'l'Hermitage market (5 mins walk), then continue your stroll along the quays, before enjoying a delicious lunch at Comptoir Porcelana, the restaurant of the Cité du Chocolat Valrhona (10 minutes from the market). Extend this gourmet immersion with a visit to the Cité du Chocolat, a sensory journey to the heart of cocoa. At the end of the day, enjoy a convivial aperitif at the Bateau Ivre before returning to your accommodation for the night (allow 15 mins between the Cité du Chocolat and the Bateau Ivre).

Day 2:
On Sunday morning, choose between a guided tour of the Cave de Tain, to discover exceptional wines, or a bike ride with the possibility of a tasting passport with Wine & Ride (duration depending on the ride chosen). After a free lunch, end your stay by exploring the Château-Musée de Tournon (15 minutes from the center of Tain) or by climbing the Hermitage hill on the "De l'Ermite à l'Hermitage" hike for a breathtaking view over the valley (4kms hike with a 138m ascent). At the end of the day, return to the station and head for your region.
